الملكة أحمس نفرتاري، واحدة من أهم المومياوات الملكية المنتظر نقلها في موكب كبير من المتحف المصري بالتحرير، إلى متحف الحضارة بالفسطاط، حيث تستعد مصر لنقل 22 مومياء، منهم 18 ملك، و 4 ملكات، في موكب كبير جاري التجهيز له، والمقرر خلال شهر ديسمبر الجاري.

الملكة أحمس نفارتاري كانت زوجة الملك أحمس الأول.
كانت والدة نفرتارى، إياح حتب زوجة الملك سقنن رع تاعا الثاني.
أنجبت نفرتارى سبعة أبناء، ثلاثة أولاد مات منهم اثنين، وأربعة بنات مات منهم ثلاثة، والأبناء الذين ظلوا على قيد الحياة هم أمنحتب الأول واعح حتب الثانية.
لعبت أحمس نفرتاري دورًا بارزًا في المعركة ضد الهكسوس.
 كانت أول امرأة في التاريخ تتقلد منصب قيادة فرقة عسكرية كاملة وقاتلت بكفاءة شديدة.
 بعد وفاة أحمس الأول، أصبحت هي الوصي لأبنها امنحوتب الأول، حتى بلغ السن وصعد إلى العرش.
عاشت نفرتارى خلال حكم كلًا من زوجها أحمس الأول، وابنها أمنحوتب الأول، وحفيدها تحتمس الأول.
 يوجد لها تمثال في معبد الكرنك.
أول ملكة تحصل على مركز الزوجة الآلهية لآمون.
عثر على مومياءها في خبيئة الدير البحرى 1881.
